We built Schooly because teachers deserve AI that saves them time without compromising student safety. Here's exactly how we protect your data.
1We never share student identities with AI
No personally identifiable information is ever sent to AI providers. No student names, email addresses, class information, or school data are included - ever. The AI processes academic content only and has no way of knowing who wrote it.
2We never train AI on your data
Student answers and teacher content are never used to train or fine-tune AI models. Your data is processed for marking only, then the result is returned. We use AI as a tool, not a data pipeline.
3Everything is encrypted
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest using AES-256. Your students’ work is protected at every stage - from submission to storage to marking and back.
4Teachers have full control
AI marks are never shown to students automatically. You review every mark before releasing it. You can override any mark, replace AI feedback with your own words, and choose exactly when and what students see.
5We’re transparent
We believe trust is earned through openness, not buried in legal documents. If you have questions about how we handle data, we’ll give you a straight answer.
